This phase is the last of five of the 28-mile water pipeline from Lake Fork to the Iron Bridge Pipe Station. This project consisted of approximately 1,800 lf of 108" RCCP Hanson pipe. An additional 6,500 lf of 96" RCCP, 500 lf of 84" RCCP, 500 lf of 72" RCCP, 300 lf of 96" steel pipe, 150 lf of 84" steel pipe and 900 lf of 72" steel pipe. This project also consisted of a interconnect structure including all bends, fittings, specialties and ancillary elements. The structure contains approximately 13,000 cy of concrete, 6,400 cy were placed on the 5' thick slab alone. The interconnect structure will house some of the largest butterfly valves ever installed in a municipal water system. Two 168" (weighing 60 tons each), three 144" and one 108" butterfly valves and associated piping.
