Overview
Oscar Renda Contracting's Management Trainee Program (ORCMTP) is a two year accelerated graduate program designed to bring in highly motivated and talented candidates that are eager to learn and excel as future leaders of Oscar Renda Contracting. |
Summary
ORCMTP allows an individual the opportunity to use a variety of their talents and skills in various capacities, while being afforded the opportunity to travel for work related purposes and receive the necessary training to ecome a viatal member of the Oscar Renda Contracting's management team. |
Duties & Responsibilities
This program includes but is not limited to: rotational assignments with project management responsibilities and cross training with our management professionals, Trainees will place material orders with vendors, assist in planning, maintenance, and constructing of water pipelines, building structural water / wastewater treatment facilities or other related utility structures. This will ensure the best use of staff and material for a safe and cost effective operation at high productivity level. Assist in developing improvements in maintenance to ensure water pipelines and water / wastewater treatment facilities are properly maintained and are in safe working conditions. |

Eligibility Requirements
- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting/Finance, or other related field with a G.P.A. of 2.5+ or greater prior to start date.
- Graduates should demonstrate skills in leadership, problem solving, communication skills and project execution.
- Be willing to relocate to any jobsite and have the flexibility to work weekends, holidays and on call duty.

Upon Completion of the Program
Management Trainees will have gained extensive experience in all aspects of our construction organization using a variety of operational styles. Trainees will be evaluated yearly to measure their acheivements, progress, and to determine their suitability for continuation in the program. Trainees will be tested on their capacity for leadership. After successful completion of the training program, Trainees will be promoted to new management openings as they become available. |
